PROFESSION OF VOWS
Sister Kelly Biddle, OP

On Sunday, September 9, 2018, Prioress Donna Pollard, OP welcomed the family, friends, and community members of Kelly Denise Biddle, OP to join in celebration of Sister Kelly’s final profession as a Dominican Sisters of Houston.

Fr. Carl Bellisch, CSB, and Fr. Steve Leger, pastor of St. Henry’s parish in Bridge City, presided over the Eucharistic Liturgy at our Dominican Center for Spirituality. The celebration continued with a reception at St. Dominic Villa.

Sr. Kelly was born and raised in Bridge City, Texas, surrounded by a close-knit family. After high school graduation, Kelly received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University and received her doctorate from Texas A&M University. Kelly was a Dominican Volunteer in Columbus, Ohio for a year, a professor at San Jacinto Junior College, and is currently beginning her third year of teaching and ministering at St. Pius X High School.  Sr. Kelly has been a Dominican Sister of Houston for close to seven years and made first vows four years ago.  The Dominican Sisters of Houston welcome Kelly and accept her perpetual vows.
