The archives is the official repository for all non-current assets of administrative, legal, financial, and historical value created by or about the Dominican Sisters of Houston. Materials document the history and development of the Dominican Sisters of Houston, its members, and the peoples and communities they serve. Materials are collected and preserved not only to save and protect organizational vital records, but also to maintain a sense of the history and charism of the Dominican Sisters of Houston.

Archival materials include written and digital reports, handbooks, annals, office publications, pamphlets, posters, photographs, audiovisual materials, personal memoirs, artifacts, theses and dissertations, and books published by the Dominican Sisters of Houston and its members.

MISSION

The Dominican Sisters of Houston Archives collects, describes, preserves, protects, and makes available for research materials documenting the ministry and legacy of the Dominican Sisters of Houston and its participation in the global mission of the Church and betterment of the world.
